About The Great Jungle Journey!

Every day, our kids are bombarded with questions: Did God really create everything? Why do bad things happen? Was Noah’s ark real? Why do I need to be saved? Can I trust the Bible?

At this VBS, your kids will explore the biblical answers to these questions as they set off on an epic adventure from Genesis to Revelation. Amid sloths, butterflies, river dolphins, and dart frogs, your children will sail along on a fun jungle cruise, stopping at seven ports of call. These ports are the 7 C’s of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. Kids will discover how these events shape our world, and they will learn to reconnect the Bible to their everyday life.

Prepare to swing into fun as we head out on The Great Jungle Journey!

Where is it at?

We’re located in Tubac at 2204 W Frontage Rd, Tubac, AZ 85646 on the west side of the freeway across from the Tubac Village.

Listen! Can you hear a howler monkey screeching and insects buzzing?

Look! Do you see a sloth hanging from a tree and a jaguar crouching, ready to pounce?

Smell! Is that the aroma of tropical flowers wafting through the air?

Touch! Do you feel soft grass under your feet and gentle rain on your skin?

Taste! Is that delicious coconut milk and exotic spices from the rainforest?

Join us in a world of wonder that will delight our senses while captivating our hearts and minds at The Great Jungle Journey: An Epic Cruise from Genesis to Revelation. We will cruise through jungle rivers, making stops at seven ports of call along the way…each starting with the letter “C.” These represent seven key biblical events…the 7C’s of History.

Parents should line-up outside on the north side of the sanctuary and enter through the door near the playground. The name(s) of the child(ren) for pick-up will be announced over the microphone, you will walk through the center of the sanctuary to pick-up your child(ren) and exit through the front doors of the church. As always, children will be released to an authorized adult only.

·   Our church considers it a great blessing to share God’s good news through VBS, and we will continue to strive to offer this program free of charge to our community. However, if you would like to make a donation to help offset some of the costs of VBS, we would greatly appreciate your gift of any amount. There will be a donation box on the sign-in table daily!

·   Lastly, we have many volunteers to help make this program a great success and blessing to every child that comes through our church doors!
